A Mammoth week!

This past week I was fortunate enough to spend some time with family up in mountain bike heaven…. Mammoth Lakes! What an absolutely beautiful place, with mile after mile of sweet single track and spectacular views abound, you will think you have arrived in heaven! Not only is the mountain biking killer but there is excellent fishing, hiking and golf to boot. A true recreation paradise and that’s just the summer months. I myself have been vacationing up in Mammoth for over 40 years and it still excites me just as much as when I was a young kid. The MTB riding up there is some of the best in the world! With a complete MTB park on Mammoth Mountain consisting of ramps, jumps, drops, bridges and over 30 miles of single track, your blood will be pumping all day long. There are also plenty of XC trails off the mountain scattered through out the area and lot’s of scenic road rides as well. If you are looking for adventure on and off the bike then Mammoth is the place for you! Just an easy 5-6 hour drive from the LA metro area. A great place to beat the summer heat!
